What does a Mud Dragon do in Texas when there's nothing else on the schedule? Hang out with Gma Mud Dragon, of course!!
My mom and I had a great day together. When she heard I a was headed into North Austin to go to Trader Joe's (a grocery store), she asked if she could come along. Absolutely!
All Mud Dragons head to Trader Joe's for one item and one item only...
Yep, it's the Crispy Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies! Nothing else will do. And here's the good news. The serving size is 12 cookies! Of course each cookie is about 1" in diameter, but they are good, Good GOOD!
Plus, Kat would be proud that I picked up a Trader Joe's reusable Texas grocery bag and some greeting cards. Those were always on her list when we went there. BTW, the closest Trader Joe's to The Mud Dragons' home base of Rexburg, ID, is either Salt Lake City, UT, or Boise, ID. Sigh....
And you can tell that my mom is a true Mud Dragon when we passed the photo op on the way out of the store, and there was no stopping her. =:-O
...TRICK OR TREAT!!!!!!!
On our way home we stopped by another branch of Half-Price books where we looked at movies, music and books, followed by lunch at Chic-Fil-A. Ah! Waffle fries a sandwich and several small tubs of Chic-Fil-A sauce later we were happy and full! And now she knows about their diet lemonade.
To wrap up the day, Gma Mud Dragon pulled out one of her favorite games, and she, my sister, and I played multiple rounds.
RACK-O!
So until next time! Like those two fine gentlemen, Bill S. Preston and Ted Theodore Logan, are fond of saying...
